Bulk Revalue of Products

I can update prices for multiple products by using a Scheduled Product Price Update or a Data Import. However, the only way of revaluing these products is one by one from the Product List screen or waiting until a Purchase Order is booked in.

Is there a way of revaluing products as part of a bulk price update?

    Hi Ed,

I happened to see your post, this isn’t something I’ve tried but there is a Product Cost Update import on iQ where you can set a Product Code, new cost, quantity of stock at that value and whether or not it should cause your Average Cost to change.

Like I’ve said never tried it myself though!

I would also like this facility to bulk revalue products or groups of products at time of supplier price increase at least,

    Hi,
I import my Product Revaluations (ProductCostUpdate). Just need the Product Code [Product], The new value for one item [NewCost] and I also import [AlternateReference] which adds a reference to the GL posting in stock revaluations so I can work out which import did which posting.
It would be a separate import but definitely possible.
    Hope that helps.
