It would be handy if there was an option whilst in a Sales Order to switch the order to a quote.
Currently, we advise our users to set the order type to collect later and save the order. They then have to find the sales order and select the “Quotation” list command to change to a quote. Finally, they have to write off the sales order.
This process is a little long winded. If there was a button on the sales order “Change to quote” this would save time and remove the need to save a Sales Order destined to be written off.
This would be nice. We have the same issue where members of the sales team mistakenly do a sales order.
