iQ allows carriage returns to be copy & pasted into text fields (and possibly others?).
This occasionally causes problems with data exports and integrations.
In the early days I found that ‘memo edit’ will allow users to key in carriage returns, which may be ok depending on context of course. A ‘text’ box doesn’t allow them to key a carriage return, but it can still be copied in from a customer email or document etc.
On a wider note, it seems to let us input almost any character. See attached screenshot where I’ve input some weird stuff on the product description. I don’t know if this is necessarily a problem, just seems a little odd to me.
