Make error/warning messages more descriptive

One of the most frustrating things I find when using IQ are the error/warning messages when they lack detail on what the issue is (I am not referring to crash messages, but error messages which prevent the user from completing things).

It’s like a dev has added them as a placeholder and no one has actually gone back and updated them to something which helps the user correct the issue.

Even when I raise a support ticket, support has to go off and find what the error message means. When this happens, the message is not updated as you would think it would be to prevent further tickets from other customers.

I can appreciate these error messages can be caused by several factors. The suggestion is to have a URL on the error box going to a page on the Hub where it goes into some detail on what can be causing the error message and what to look out for.

If adding a URL was not feasible, add a error reference code which can be searched on the Hub.

This approach would for sure cut down on support tickets.
